Position Title: Mental Health Professional
Location: DuBois
Status: Part-Time

Position Summary
The Mental Health Professional is the lead member of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for treatment plan development. The Mental Health Professional serves as team leader providing team and individually delivered therapy and case management to children and their families in the home and/or community. This position is required to work hours that coincide with client schedules, including day, evening, and/or weekend hours.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
•Graduate Degree in psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation or any graduate degree in the field of human services; OR
•Registered Nurse with five years of experience in the mental health field, plus certified by the Department of Public Welfare, Office of Mental Health (OMH), as a mental health family-based worker; OR
•Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, education, re-med, theology, anthropology, or any degree in the field of human services, plus certification by Department of Public Welfare, Office of Mental Health (OMH), as a mental health family-based worker

Work Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a CASSP System Program.

Other: Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities: (overview-not inclusive of all duties)
• Develop individualized treatment plans through collaboration with family and Mental Health Worker.
• Revise and update treatment plan as required for continued authorization of the services.
• Provide team and individually delivered therapy to children and their families in the home and/or the community.
• Serve as lead clinician and provide clinical guidance to Mental Health Worker.

Mental Health Worker

The Mental Health Worker is a member of a multidisciplinary team. The Mental Health Worker as co-team leader and is responsible for providing team and individually delivered therapy and case management to children and their families in the home and/or community. This position is required to work hours that coincide with client schedules, including day, evening, and/or weekend hours.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology, or anthropology; OR
• Have 12 college level semester hours in humanities or social services and be enrolled for certification by OMH as a mental health family based worker; OR
• Registered Nurse and be enrolled for certification by OMH as a mental health family based worker.

Work Experience:
• Minimum of one years’ experience in a CASSP System Program.

Other:
•Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities: (Overview-not inclusive of all duties)
• Provide team and individually delivered therapy to children and their families in the home and/or community.
• Adhere to scheduled sessions and deliver appropriate authorized units of service prescribed.
• Provide 24/7 day per week crisis intervention coverage on an on-call rotation with other team members.
• Utilize safe crisis safe crisis management techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with members of the treatment team and other service providers to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Document treatment data/results on progress notes and submit in a timely manner.
Assist the Mental Health Professional with development of treatment plans.

Special Education Teacher

Position Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: DuBois School
Status: Full Time

Position Description:
The Special Education Teacher is responsible for developing, maintain, and documenting all instructional and behavioral programs within the school setting. Responsible for overseeing classroom dynamics and functioning of all staff within their classroom, will work collaboratively with the Director of Education to maintain daily operations of the school.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: A four year degree from a college or university with a Pennsylvania public school Special Education Teaching Certificate.
Work Experience: Minimum of six months experience working with children with behavior/learning disorders.

Responsibilities: (Overview-not inclusive of all duties)
Develop and Complete Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process, which includes IEP development, collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, preparation of required paperwork, and attendance at IEP meetings.
Work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to develop/design and implement appropriate services.
Demonstrates appropriate classroom management. Utilize safe crisis management techniques as deemed appropriate.

Classroom Support Staff

Location: DuBois School
Status: Part-Time

Position Description:
• Works collaboratively with the Special Education Teacher to fulfill the curricular and behavioral needs of the students.
• High School diploma or equivalency and six months experience working with children having behavioral/learning disorders.
• Position requires the individual to be physically and mentally capable/competent of working with students with physical aggression, abuse issues, and other emotional concerns.• Must be a team player and work well in the school environment.
• Must have current CPI and First Aid safety certifications.

Responsibilities: (overview-not inclusive of all duties)
• Work collaboratively with members of the multi-disciplinary team to implement appropriate services in accordance with the child’s Individual Education Plan, with focus on both academic and behavioral/therapeutic goals.
• Implement appropriate behavior management strategies and techniques and assist, monitor and guide students to pay attention, participate in activities and complete tasks.• Observe and record necessary data to assist students with development of independent skills outlined in the Individualized Education Plan.
• Accompany, monitor and assist student designed settings (school, outdoors, field-trips).
• Utilize non-violent crisis intervention techniques and physically assist, as needed.
